Canopy Design Studio, founded by Emily Hanekroot, approaches landscape design with a wealth of horticultural and construction knowledge. Emily honed her skills working with one of Australia's most prominent Landscape Designers, William Dangar, where she delivered his cutting-edge designs across Sydney and Australia.

Emily's early experiences in the industry sparked her love for the intricate details of landscape design, constantly seeking new ways to combine textures of foliage, forms of trees and characteristics of materials to express the design intent. At Canopy Design Studio, we create designs prioritising the garden's natural beauty and character.

“I’ve always loved great design, be it architecture, technical design or obviously garden design. Landscape design drew me in as I’m a true outdoors person and hands on, I definitely draw alot of inspiration from the natural world and my travels. Living where I do there’s so much opportunity to connect to the landscape everyday in my work and personal life.”
